Sikhs like to tell the rest of us that we owe them big time because they were cannon fodder for the British army. In their ongoing PR campaign they brag on and on about the "83,005 turban-wearing Sikh soldiers who were killed and 109,045 that were wounded." So even though the army issued helmets these Lemmings ran to their death with no other protection than their Turban. The magic cloth was full of holes, you say?
